Doug Welsh is a Signature Member of the Cincinnati Art Club and a member of Artists For Conservation and Oil Painters of America (OPA). Most days, you’ll find him either in his studio or outside painting en plein air.

Fascinated by life in transition, Doug looks for places where nature, agriculture, community, and labor intersect—often along the edges and off the beaten path. His paintings capture brief moments of light, nature, and change, each telling a unique story. For Doug, painting is an ongoing state of wonderment.
