Robert Thegerström (1857-1919) studied figure and landscape painting at the Royal Swedish Academy of Fine Arts as well as several famous studios, including the Académie Julian. Today, most of his work is exhibited in European museums, such as the Nationalmuseum, Prins Eugens Waldemarsudde, Gothenburg Museum of Art and the Östergötlands nation in Uppsala.
