The only professional training Grant had prior to his foray into oil in the late 2000s was his high school art class. Now, he is a Signature member of the Cincinnati Art Club, has held art shows, and has been accepted into several juried art competitions. His work primarily features landscapes, maritime scenes, and several paintings of Cincinnati's Roebling Bridge.
